Demagnetizer is a common auxiliary equipment to avoid reunited henomena and thus improve 2nd grade efficiency to be used after the first separation.
It is composed of five serial round-shaped coaxial coils but in different outer diameters and lengths and when the slurry passes through the central steel tube the aim of demagnetizing reaches. Under the action of wear-off alternating magnetic field along the trend of axial produced by excitation coils, the ore slurry gets magnetized obverse-to-reverse repeatedly, both of remain magnetization and induction are wearing off till no magnetism left, then a full course of demagnetization has finished. |
